Ride California Explore the west by bicycle

Push off,
click in, and open yourself to a panorama of greens, blues, and
yellows. Nature is yours to discover during this 7-day ride
through the Golden State. It is not for the fainthearted, but
for those who crave spinning wheels beneath them to experience
nature's perfection.
The first day you will visit Lassen National Park and explore
the molded hills created from Mt Lassen's eruption in 1915.
Now the world's largest dormant volcano, its lasting presence is
felt through the hydrothermal lands of bubbling mud pots and
hissing fumaroles. Mt Shasta will dominate your northern horizon,
but not to intimidate the true cyclist. Conquer the 11-mile climb
to the Bunny Flat Trailhead (6,860 ft.) and you will be rewarded
with a breathtaking view of the cascade range.
Klamath River will
then become your guide, revealing its sacred treasures of bald
eagles and wild horses. (You may even see the elusive Bigfoot
while riding on the Bigfoot Scenic Byway.) Ride
California
is
truly complete with the glacially chiseled peaks of the Marble
Mountain Wilderness and Trinity Alps, peaks that rival the beauty of
their European counterparts. This 488-mile loop is the perfect
escape for the passionate cyclist. Breath crisp air, pedal
with undisturbed quietness, and experience northern California's
surreal beauty.
